the project is of collective design:

all ideas and information shared here are just a starting seed to help get the project started. The project is community engagement and empowerment, it is visioning what we want our world to be like and making it happen, its making our dreams come true.



MISSION:

To help radically change the world by helping to build communities and forming a radical movement

VISION:

radical infrastructure of thriving communities, networked, that support global systems change and local change

VALUES:

Love for all, and a commitment to making the world a more enjoyable place for all

NAME:

There is not a name for it, but there could be once we deem it necessary and possible

LOCATIONS:

Global network of communities, local and/or based on interests

PEOPLE:

you and everyone else are invited

COMMUNICATION:

local spaces, web interface, email, social media, meetings, phones, message boards, community meeting areas, what works

ADMINISTRATION:

a form of shared leadership of the project and each within each individual community

INCLUSION:

the challenge is building a global community with disparate values and visions, supporting difference, finding and thriving in similarity

RESOURCES:

radicalising resources and finding how to share them, finding value in ourselves and in sharing our gifts and what we can offer

PROJECTS/PROGRAMS:

each community has projects that are meaningful to them, as well as collective projects across communities

THEORY OF CHANGE:

creating an organization that is designed and functions by collective visioning of individuals and our communities gives us agency over how our communities function, grow, change, and resolve problems on local and global levels.

do we know how to make things better?


The answer is "Constantly." This project invites us to develop a way to function as community that invites us to envision how to make things better, while giving us the ability to turn vision into reality.



The elements that constitute this are to create an organization that does the following:
--- Invites people to participate
--- is built on principles of shared leadership
--- constitutes something real that people can be a part of
--- encourages individual visioning for ideal changes within society, while highlighting important issues
--- gives us the ability to turn these visions into reality through sharing resources and working together
--- facilitates a diversity of different visions to coexist without oppressing one another
--- develops a network of communities in order to share ideas and resources and work on large projects
--- creates an inclusive social movement, with global change potential

Another factor is the radical nature of the project. No system of society seems to be perfect, and so there is no system being proposed here. What is being proposed is taking the best from multiple systems - taking what works - and applying it. This includes diverging from existing systems and applying potentially radical ideas to traditional societal systems, creating foundational change.

Together we'll engage in the following steps:

--- Form a community around creating the organization (see "Communities" page).
--- Test models for leadership and function.
--- Come to a point of formation, and start the organization.
--- Develop projects and resources to serve the organization (see "Projects" and "resources" page).
--- Start local or intentional communities, and test organizational models and strategies.
--- Form more communities, local and organizational projects, and network them together (see "Network" page).
--- acknowledge a "movement" that is forming and support it.
--- Working together, continue to envision, work towards, and make possible - a more enjoyable world for all.
--- Continually include and invite people to help re-vision the organization and community models.
--- Share the community model with others - other places, people, and interest groups (see "participate" page).
